Unlike last year, when Royal Challengers Bengaluru struggled at the Chinnaswamy, IPL 2026 has seen the defending champions give the home support plenty to cheer, with three wins in four games. As they play their final league stage game at the Chinnaswamy, they will want to make it four against five when they take on Gujarat Titans later in the day.
After this, RCB have a flurry of away games, before they shift base to their second home, in Raipur. The Chinnaswamy, of course, is set to host two playoff games, including the final, and RCB will hope that today’s game isn’t their last at their home ground this season.
Up against them are Gujarat Titans, whose middle-order frailties were laid bare in their last game against Mumbai Indians. They will be looking for solutions, against an explosive RCB team, who have a potent bowling attack of their own.
The last time these two teams met here, Mohammed Siraj blew his former team out of the park with a sensational spell of new-ball bowling. All in all, we should have a cracking game ahead of us.
